Happy Wedding Day Jensen and Quincie!

Congratulations to Jensen and Quincie!! They are married - It's a wonderful day for them!

 Maybe it's the romance in the air, but someone is very enamored by her big cousin Jake.

 Brooke just couldn't stop hugging Jake at the temple grounds while we were waiting for Jensen and Quincie to come out.

Solo Hiking to the Top of the Tram

Feeling inspired by some of my family members, I decided to hike the tram on Friday morning. It took me almost 3 hours, but I made it from the bottom to the top of the tram.

What was I thinking? It was crazy hard and worse then I remember.

I realized that I live with crazy people who like to do crazy things and then I think I should do some of the things they do because they make them look and sound so easy - when clearly they are not.

The timing of the morning hours was perfect because I had total shade for over half of the hike.

It doesn't even look that steep in the picture...

It was steep, and I wasn't going to take it but, Derek called and said I have to hike the ridge trail for sure!  Why? It's much harder, but it's the same climb in elevation and the views and surroundings are amazing!!

So the ridge is along the skyline and you have views of both sides of the valley.

The flowers were so gorgeous!

The sounds of the stream was beautiful too.

And I learned that flowers can grow on a rocky ridge

Looking back on the trail I was just on and going forward around to the ridge.

Climbing up, up up!

I MADE IT! Finally!

I have never appreciated the free ride down as much as today!
