An Overnight Trip to St George

These girls were all fun and games this past weekend! I enjoyed hearing their chatter all the way down to St George. We left cold weather up north for more cold weather and rain down south.

It was overcast and windy, but that didn't stop us from going on a hike around the red rocks.

Miraculously, the sun came out the next day! We enjoyed laying by the pool and soaking up some vitamin D...

 

After church, we walked around the temple. This temple is one of my favorites. I love the striking white color against the bright blue sky.

On the way home, we went on a waterfall hike near Leeds. We took our lunch with us and ate when we got to the top.

 The water was freezing, but the sun was out so the girls didn't seem to mind the cold. 

Red sand, water, sunshine and smiles made for a great weekend!

Early Birthday Lunch!

Today we met at the Olive Garden for a celebration of our wonderful mom, grandma and great-grandma.

Brynlee wore the outfit that Grandma Judith gave her. 

We sang "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" to her, along with servers from the restaurant. Such a wonderful lady in our family. We all love you!

Beauty and the Beast is the BEST!

I got to go to the movies with these three! Everyone else had schedules to keep, but we were there. It was as great as you could imagine and Brynlee was a perfect spectator. She loved watching the big screen and she wore her darling rose shirt just for the occasion. I can't wait to go and see it again! It will definitely be a movie to own.

A great night at Prom!

These two had such an awesome time at Prom together and why shouldn't they? They have basically grown up together - friends since they were four. Hudson is our backyard neighbor and he asked Madi to the dance in January.

 Getting ready is always extra fun when your sister comes home from college to help do your makeup!

 Mascara is really the most serious part!

Grandma Karen thought it was just as awesome as The Nutcracker. Utah Regional Ballet always does such a beautiful job.

Happy Birthday Sara Bear!

Someone has been waiting for so long for this big birthday gift! Finally, a phone of her own. I have heard about the fact that everyone she knows has had a phone for the last 3 years (or more)...Sara was so HAPPY!

 Sara had a full birthday schedule for her day. Brooke got baptized in the morning making it a special day for them both.

 A quick picture before Sara had to run out the door to be in Provo for her matinee performance of Snow White. She had to be there early to have her makeup on for the show. She loves her part this year!

Cousins Not by Chance - Friends Forever!

I wanted to grab a quick picture of these three before we had to head back to our church. This was a great day. Harrison's baby, Aaidan, was blessed by his Grandpa and we were so happy to be there. At this moment, cute Aaidan was in someone's arms being admired and celebrated. He is a darling baby and looks just like Harrison. Happy Blessing Day, sweet Aaidan - We are so thrilled you joined our family!

Time Slow Down...

Can't believe this little doll baby is 4 months old today! And I really can't believe my baby turns 15 next week. Kayli had a refuel event so lucky for me, I was able to watch Brynlee. Sara and I took her to Roxberry on the way to dance. 

Bryn is such a sweetheart and loves to cuddle with her soft little elephant. And just look at those hands - too precious!

A Ballet Class to Remember

Today was a pretty special day at ballet for Sara. Her URBII class was honored to have a master class with Karine Plantadit, an inspiring dancer and Broadway star. She worked with them for over 3 hours today and it sounds like she will come back again. Sara was beaming after class and kept commenting about how much she loved Karine's example of life and dancing!
