WE ALL LOVE LAKE POWELL !!!

Look who we ran into at Lake Powell! Bryan Jensen, our friend from high school and Derek's mission companion in the MTC and New York City. He was staying on a houseboat right next to ours in the marina. Great Coincidence!
Courtney, Alli, Madi and Sara break out the embroidery thread to make bracelets while we drive the houseboat to Last Chance Canyon - 2.5 hours away...
It's awesome to show John our favorite lake. This is his first trip here.
Jake helped me drive the boat out of the marina while Derek helped with the houseboat.
Cute engaged couple!
These views are magnificent!
Madi taking a plunge off the top!
Playing all day...
I love all of these kids.
DB, Andrew, Madi, Alli, John, Sara, Jake, Paris, and Parker
Jake flies on the wakeboard!
He will always be my champion waterski guy!
Alli and John loved riding the wave runner together.
Surfing is still one of my favorite things to do here.
Watermelon Ball - Madi takes the lead...
Good Times!
John's first time on the surfboard.
I love cruisin' on this ski.

My fun friends Kim and Cherry!
Naps on the boat...by Lexi
Alli tries slalom skiing for the first time and she got up!
Way to Go - ALLI
Lake Powell always ends with Pizza at Strombolli's. We are missing 6 kids who had to leave early. Jake headed to be with Kate's family in Lake Tahoe and Madi was invited to go to Hawaii with MJ's family.

Lake Powell, A Memoir

Lexi made this clever Lake Powell scrapbook and presented it on the first night and we all took the week to write memories inside. The book unfortunately got a little wet, but that just added to it's authenticity.
I only wished that I would have gotten more pages. I need to find where this book ended up.

Ideas with Tires

These two are functional, creative and provident. The idea here is to make sandals out of tires. They had all the tools out and were working hard to figure a way to cut and trim the tire. It will be fun to see other ideas they come up with throughout their life together.

Playing with BRYNLEE

She had to have the entire cucumber.
She loves nuggets and she loves Sara!
Cute Dani came over and played for an afternoon - Bryn loved having her here.
Swinging everyday and singing as she goes back and forth!
Waffles!
Happiness is seeing and holding the kittens again.
She was cracking us up with the faces she makes!
Intriqued by these soft features and little movements
I really think she could have sat there for hours. She was so patient and still.

Heading off to a Garden Wedding!
