This birthday girl of ours was spoiled from Friday to Sunday! Jake and Kate created a Starburst Slime recipe and a poem to be remembered.
Everyone had fun getting in on the slime making activity. Unwrapping two bags of Starburst took a while.
Extra hands really helped to get the slime out...
Sara was on her own to stretch in the powdered sugar - this slime is totally edible!
My mom invited us up to her house for Sunday dinner and to celebrate Sara...
SIXTEEN CANDLES FOR OUR SWEET SARA!
Sara wanted a vanilla cake like the ones they make at Sweet Tooth Fairy. I called them to order one and they wanted $70.00. What?? So, I made this cake to be like theirs. Four layers from scratch with butter cream frosting. I was happy with the way it turned out and it tasted really yummy.
A special card with red envelope from Grandma and Grandpa Butters.
At 8:30, on Sunday night our doorbell rang and there stood a huge surprise for Sara. Her best of friends came with balloons and a chocolate cake. The party just keeps going on and on.
We all sang to her again and she blew out more candles.
She's had a wonderful day! Happy Birthday to our youngest child who is growing up way to fast. Can't believe you are 16 now!
