Happy Birthday Jake!
One of Jake's favorite meals is scones and that's what he requested for his birthday dinner this year,
It was so fun to have Kayli and Chris up here for the week after fall break. Kate joined us also to celebrate this fine young man of ours. He is awesome!!
An oreo cookie ice cream pie ablaze with 23 candles.
He gets his wish!! Blowing out every candle carefully and one at a time, he impresses us all. This kid has a set of lungs that are strong from swimming and hiking. Happy 23rd to my favorite boy!!
Disneyland Dayzzz
A few days at Disneyland for these three friends was the cherry on the top of Fall Break.
Mickey's Halloween party was the best! Madi said there were no lines and they got to walk on to every ride. I guess is pays to go when they limit the number of guests at the park.

New Swing and The Pumpkin Farm
Grandpa bought Brynlee a swing just for her, he wrapped it up and let her rip it open. She loves to swing and sings while she moves back and forth.
I love how she holds her hands. She is loving this new addition to the swing set.
Sometimes swinging is a very serious activity.
A day at the farm! What a darling family and such a perfect fall day!
A cute little petting zoo. This baby goat was ready to chew on Bryn's shoe.
Brynlee loved the tractor the most and didn't want to let go of the steering wheel.
Pumpkins all around, but the cutest one is in the middle of Chris and Kayli. She makes us all smile.
Big Sister - Little Sister
Football season is almost over, but it will be a memorable one for me because of these two. I love having my girls in high school together! Madi and Sara's relationship is so sweet. Madi is always encouraging and giving advice to Sara. They both drive to and from school everyday. I hope they appreciate how lucky they are to have each other. I had to include this kind note that I found while I was cleaning out the mud room a few weeks ago.

More Fun Times Together
Chris and Bryn swimming with Ariel and Brooke
We were all there, just some of us by the side of the pool.
Brynlee was surrounded with good company at every meal.
Hiking through Red Cliffs and Zion's National Park
We had a fantastic time hiking through the red rock reserve on Friday. Luckily, we left early because it became super crowded.
Brynlee seemed to like riding in the backpack. It's great that she's so congenial and will go along with whatever we plan.
Sara and Kelsey found some really cool rock formations to pose with along the way!
In the spring and summer this is a beautiful waterfall with a pond, but it was still gorgeous to see.
It's hard to see the depth from a picture. We made it this far and didn't venture up and over the ropes. Really, it is way steeper than it looks!
Cutest little peeking baby from the other side - Love this little family!
We hiked up to the top of an archway going the other direction and enjoyed the view from up top!
Then on the way back to the trail head we saw a big tarantula...
And Chris hung off a rock cliff!
Angels Landing was the big activity for Saturday morning. Sadly, I had a really bad migraine and wasn't able to go. Derek was the trail leader of 7 ladies. He said they all did great!
Steep terrain every way you look. This is a first time for everyone except DB...

My cute mom and dad in the Red Hills of St George!

I love that Sara got to hike this with her dad. It's the most extreme hike in Utah that I can think of!
Here is one of my angel daughters sitting on top of the world - Wow, what a view and what a wonderful world!
It was a day for huge crowds, especially on this hike. Going up was not a problem, but coming down they had to wait for 10 minutes at every chain. My cute mom and dad in the Red Hills of St George!
I love to see them walking through the rocky caves hand in hand.
