It's been a few years since all of our family has been able to spend the entire Sunday at Snowbird. Church here is done in a perfect way and everyone loves that it's just an hour, especially Brynlee.
Kayli and I had coincidentally brought matching dresses - with no other choices available - guess we'll just have to be twins!
One of my favorites from the day...my cute guy showing Brynlee the flowers as we walked back to Iron Blossom.
I especially love this one amongst the wildflowers! Derek is a natural at this grandpa thing. Just notice all the extra things in his hand and pocket. :)
There's always time for a Sunday walk out to the point...
Oh my, what a beautiful view and it's so good to have Kayli and Bryn with us!
GORGEOUS GIRLS all around!
Kayli and Haley have been coming to snowbird since they were just babies. I have loved watching them grow up together. We talked about their many sets of matching sundresses that Grandma Judith gave to them each summer.
Brynlee seemed to enjoy being in the mountains.
The afternoon tie dye project begins...everyone's planning how they will color their shirt for this year.
Grandma brings this tradition to life every year and all the kids love it.
Some really serious faces working hard to make sure the dye is applied just right.
A quick smile from Sara in the midst of squeezing the pink bottle...
Alli tried a new technique this year by dipping her shirt like a candle and adding more color each time - It looked pretty cool so far.
An original creation by Jake. I don't think there has ever been one quite like this!
I helped Kayli create matching shirts for her and Brynlee. Such a fun activity!! Thank You, Grandma!
Before dinner, we took a drive up to Albion Basin. Our plan was to walk around at the top, but there were so many people with the same idea that there weren't any parking spots left. The wildflowers were so amazing and it was well worth the traffic up and down. Later we found out that 2000 cars went through this weekend. Crazy!
Luckily, we were able to sneak a few photos in on the way down.
This is one of my favorites!! I love how it captures Brynlee's personality so well!
I don't think you could find someone more proud to be an uncle than Jake.
These three loved walking down through the meadow together. It was a quick stop with Derek waiting in the car. However, we're so glad we took the time to jump out!
